This system when it was new to me was a bit time consuming to find selections but now i am getting the hang of it potential selections can be gathered the night before in less than 20 minutes. I have to keep stating that while i am getting on well with this system no two peoples results will be the same however the criteria set out is based on sound principles.

22 May Results
We had 4 Selections 1 was successful a daily profit of £1 bring the system total to £44 after 1 month of testing.

On the face of it the system looked really good, until you use actual Betfair SP. To bear out this point yesterday using industry SP we would have 6 selections with 2 being successful. One of the qualifiers was Wotchalike which returned at 10/11 (1.9) industry SP the Betfair SP was nearly 6/5 (2.18). This would have been counted as a winning bet using the traditional bookmakers SP clearly it is not.

The system test has now finished and will be moved to the neutral section. The system does work but not as advertised.

You may have wondered at the time why i called this play the lottery for free when it actually costs £5 per week to play.
What actually happens is that when you sign up at a cost of £5 per week you get the option of referring new members, and for each new member you get to join you are paid £1 per week. What i done was to tell all my friends / family/ colleagues about this lottery system and now as of today i have referred 5 people so i am now playing the lottery twice a week for free as the money generated by the people i have referred is offset against the £5 per week playing fee.
What the people who have joined are now doing is the same as what i have done ie contact everyone they know in order to get five more people to join then they will be playing for free also.
It might seem complicated but if you read this a couple of times it is dead simple.
There is no excuse as to why anyone cant do this for a few minutes to end up with 49 lines in the lottery twice a week.
I will keep this updated on what winnings i get if any.

As promised here’s the update. Using industry SP the P/L stood at £116, but using Betfair SP it drops to a staggering £43 starting with a £500 bank. This is after about 1 month of testing and results include the 5% Betfair commission. The main reason for this is that the system will only lay odds-on favourites. When using the industry SP you get more qualifying selections as some selections return a price of 8/11 or 10/11, but sometimes the Betfair SP can return at 2.04 or above no bet. The manual tells you to use a traditional bookmaker to make your selections; this is another reason why I used the industry SP for test. This has been a very important learning curve to testing systems and will improve the service for the future.

The strike rate using industry SP is about 45% as stated in the manual, but using Betfair SP this drops to 36% quite a bit below. Having said that the system does work but it will take longer to make the gains claimed in the sale pitch.

An update of the results will appear later today. I have readjusted them to reflect true Betfair SP. The sales web site uses industry (Bookmaker) SP so I thought I would do the same thinking there is not that much difference between them at odds-on. How wrong I was. The Betfair website has a results section that I was not aware of. So from now on any lay systems tested will use true Betfair SP. The system is still in profit but nowhere as much.

The last thing we want to do is mislead anyone about results, the whole idea of this blog is to give unbiased views and this is what we strive to do. So be very wary of any lay system being quoted at industry SP

I have created a category called neutral systems, i did not plan to do this but this system isnt a money loser (so far) but it is incredibly tedious

Another point about this system is that it shows trading in the manual but i could not get enough market liquidity to make this work

Finally, the market in which this system is based runs approx for 12 hours each day, people will have very different results depending on when they choose to use the system

Both systems are contained in a 22 page PDF file. The first 5 pages contains general information about betting and bookmakers odds. The actual system is well written and very easy to understand. Both systems involve backing favourites to win that meet the criteria within the systems. The selection processes are very mechanical and everyone should end up with the same selections. The author claims 14 consecutive years of successful profits. It is also a little more expensive than some the current systems so let’s see how it performs.

The recommendation is a 20 point starting bank, so for the purpose of the test we will start with 2 (virtual) £200 banks and use £10 level stakes.

I will start the test today with the results put on the blog tomorrow.

The system comes in the form of a 22 page PDF document. The manual is concise with none of the waffle that comes with many systems these days. The opening three pages give a brief overview of the system and how to access the Betfair Games. The rest of the manual goes into a detailed explanation of the system, which is well written with simple step by step instructions to follow.

The system involves trading on the Hi Lo game with £5 stakes. The system is designed to make a small Profit each day between £20 – 30 with a starting bank of £100 so not a get rich quick scheme, but a steady daily income.

The manual suggests paper trading for a few days before using real money. This is the approach I shall take. I will test the system on a daily basis for 1 hour or a daily profit target of £25 is reached.

One thing i do notice about this market is that it is very low liquidity and therefore impossible to trade as the manual suggests. Also notice that the unsuccessful lays were at odds of 3.0 this is pure coincidence

This new system that has been launched onto the market, if you want to view the sales page click here. Basically this is a 35 page pdf file which is that standard for ebooks these days. The first 12 pages are about Betfair and how the system was discovered etc, the actual system itself begins on page 13 , now the hidden market and loophole that the author talks about is actually a bit mis-leading however i wont be revealing what it is as this would be very unfair to the author. The system however seems very logical so we will see how it pans out after one months testing, i will be using a bank of £50 ( real money)

System Overview

The basis of this system is to lay horses on the exchanges that is always the odds-on favourite but not all odds-on favourites qualify. The selection method is very simple and only takes about 5 – 10 minutes a day to find potential selections using a traditional bookmaker website or an odds comparison site. The system uses a unique staking system to recover losses which is critical to the whole system but this is not a lay ladder or other traditional loss recovery staking plans. The manual that comes with the system is very well written so the expert or novice punter alike can quickly start using the system with minimal fuss.

I will use a virtual Bank of £500 and base all stakes around this. The test has been running for two weeks with very encouraging results.
