Day 14
Just 1 successful lay today and 2 losers from the 3 selections. Loss on the day was - 3.98 points and the running total drops even further to -25.64 points. I can't see this poor system making much headway in the weeks ahead.

Hello Ivor.. It has to be said that in my experience 95% of laying systems are poor and when you get a bad one they often make good backing systems with the amount of winners..
ReplyDeleteWith regards to the bookie demolisher; This one looking at past results definately has the ability to turn around and produce some good results as it has.. I use low risk trades on anything over 11.0 and setting the lay to keep at 2.0 - 3.0 and this has negated around 25% of losing bets in this price range and still represents a better return than isp when we do have a winner as many are juicier morning prices..
Enjoy your postings..

Good evening Jag.I too think that The Bookie Demolisher has a definite chance of making a decent profit and is more than capable of turning around a large deficit.I also agree with your comments about lay systems and this one has a more than reasonable chance as a backing system.Re your posts about The 5 Minute System I really look forward to your updates and a few more encouraging logs from you and I will purchase it and try my hand at trading to small stakes.Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteHi Ivor, Many thanks for your comments! The 5 minute system is okay but there is always a possibility that your price won't get matched i.e the selection in question hangs in the stalls or whatever and the price immediately goes the other way. This happened once during my initial pre-test and despite the positive indicators can leave you with your initial risk wide open but generally it works okay and my final review will of course indicate all the possible scenarios. JAG.
