Moving Out!
Firstly , id like to apologise to anyone who has noticed that i havent posted on the blog in a few days recently, i know i have talked about it for some time but the new website is finally ready, well 95% ready. This blogger tool that i use while very effective is limited in what it can do, and basically i want to a lot more. Dont worry though, i wont be going commercialised or selling products or anything like that, and reviewing systems as we do on a daily basis will always be the what the new site will revolve around- but with a few extra, and i hope useful features as well as an exciting opportunity for all the readership.

Five Minute Profits.
Okay nothing for Thursday but Friday and Saturday produced 6 low risk trades of which we had two winners and 4 guaranteed trades which all but one matched up before the trade went in-play and again no negatives to report. We are now compounding our profits to get a new bank each day and although the rewards aren't fantastic especially on the guaranteed trades we are chipping away making nearly 30% on our original bank which is an exceptional return in any sphere given the time this takes. I am literally doing this when I have five minutes in between other commitements so is a true random test that so far has consistently produced results and does become second nature after a time. Our next trades will be 10% of our new £ 384.43 bank.

Five Minute Profits.
Revised profit for the system based on 10% of the daily bank to set our trading amount is around an extra £10 and when compounded and divided each day can soon start to amount as the days/weeks go by and the bank gets hopefully bigger. The original bank of £ 300 now stands at £362.16. I have a couple of days trading to calculate and will bring up to date tonight but this is where we left it last time with the revised figures. I have also rounded up or down the trading amounts to the nearest quid so we are not messing with pennies but this will balance out long term and the next trades will be for £ 36.00.

Spot The Lay
I tested this system for 32 days and at the end of that period it was showing a profit of £51.85.
It does use a staking plan were you increase your stakes to a max of 2pts after each winner and then revert back to 1pt after a loser.
It was very easy and quick to find the lays for each day but you do need to use the Racing Post for the info that is required.
This can also be done the night before and it is very easy to set up a bot to look after any lays that may qualify while you are at work.
The mistake I made was to set the bot too near to the time of the race being off, and I think if I had it set to look at the lay price earlier, then I beleive that there would have been more lays and more profit.
The max price you lay to is 4.2.
All in all it was a very easy method and one that made a profit if only small, and I think its worthy of consideration, as I would like to see how it performs over a longer period.
It is certainly worth having in your portfolio of systems.

Meeting 12. We had two qualifying races on tonights Kempton card and we had no winners from our total six selections making a 6 point loss on the evening overall and has to be said that the best results of all six runners was a couple of mediocre third places. I must have caught this system in a mid transitional period as results leading up to the test were doing okay but then again I am not aware of anyone running the test for this long. If anyone is using this sytem I would be interested in any comments thus far.

There were less trades today than normal being either short or open markets and the ones I did view were quite flat near the off giving no real indicators as to which way the price was likely to go so nothing to report.
Like a numpty I haven't been compounding the profits and using 10% of the new bank each time so although the increase won't be great each time it will no doubt pay dividends over the longer term. I will update these on my next posting.

All selections will be backed using 1 point each way and a recommended minimum bank of 40 points will be used at £ 10 per point. The only results example on the pdf we have is for December 2007 which is a little worrying for the lack of updating and hopefully he has not been dining out on this since! Out of 23 selections it hit a 91.30 return percentage making 107.5 points profit in total so a high strike rate is expected. I will take a look at the website to gleen some more results info etc in the meantime. We have to view the live bookmaker markets before the off and all evening and AW racing is eliminated thus narrowing down the options for the 9-5ers.. As per my usual stylie I will fill you in with tit bits along the road to rags or riches and hopefully we can score some decent results in this ever floundering but seemingly reasuringly expensive market for a good quality profit making systems.

Five Minute Profits.
Five more trades on Tuesday with one winner out of three low risk trades and two positive guaranteed trades making what seems a small profit but in comparitive terms relating to time taken vs reward vs small trading amounts is proving to be a reliable source at present.
There are plenty more opportunities than this on a daily basis and these are just when I have had time to view the markets in between other commitments.

Meetings 10 & 11. We had 3 qualifying races over the past two meetings and all three races were winners but unfortuately the odds were all short and only just covering the two other equally backed selections in each race. One race had two non runners and one withdrawn just before the offski and by only having two runners in this particular race is the only reason we made a small 0.919 point overall profit. The systems average winning price seems to be taking somewhat of a hammering of late.

A good recovery for the system today to take it back into profit.There were 7 possible selections reduced to 5 because of price restrictions. The 5 bets gave 2 losing bets,2 winners at 8/1 and 11/1 and a place at 8/1. The 11/1 winner was also a 2 point bet[1 point each-way].The gain on the day was 22.2 points leaving the running total at + 9.68 points.

Anyway 11 trades over the weekend broke down into 7 low risk trades of which 5 won making a profit of £ 25.50 and 4 guaranteed trades making £ 8.30 all of which performed as per instruction. Many of the low risk trades are my own account selections so a little bit of study although not necessary can help point you in the right direction. These profits aren't bad at our current staking level considering that they took only about an hour to complete and using a very tight price margin.

They do not proof their results and their results pages are bullshit. When the service bums out they just disapear, set up another one and let it sit on the net dangling their hook to unsuspecting punters.
I made an enquiry with no reply as they have probably recognised my email address. I was a member of the syndicate 100 and did okay for a while before sussing something was amiss and had the savy to get out before they bummed out.. Payments for this service are likely to be via standing order made payable to a M. Tipton. www.lay-pm.mobi They use the same do your own site with a suspiciously similar writing style and layout. "

I checked out 5 trades today within the price ranges which 2 of these were successful guaranteed trades and 3 were low risk trades of which 2 actually won with one losing but clipping our lay in-play bet so only a commission loss on that one. £30.00 is low in terms of trading especially with such small price increments but we made a profit of £ 12.66 in total for 30 minutes work.
2 trades were matched up before the in-play markets and one was hanging unmatched for an uncomfortable period of time.

Five Minute Profits.
I will be posting the days results here tonight but just to recap; We are looking at favourites an hour or so before racing begins that are within a certain price range. Depending on the outlined market pointers up to the five minute before the race starts we are going to either back or lay our selection based on market trends just before the off and then set a small price differential to trade off our selection whilst in play either for a low risk or a guaranteed trade. Profits will be small based on the stated increment and we are advised to play 10% of our banks per trade. The only real problem I can see is if our price doesn't get matched for whatever reason whilst in play and goes the other way then we are stuck with either a back bet or lay bet liability which could leave the betting bank in a vulnerable position and make take many trades to recoupe. Anyway we will see what we will see on this one but it has to be said that the market pointers outlined are standard practice for your average cold trading Betfairian.

Horse Racing Tipster
Over the coming weeks i will be testing this new service which is aptly called horse racing tipster, which at approx £50 month is quite pricey and slightly above the norm, so lets hope that it works well, i will be carrying out my test using £10 level stakes

Five Minute Profits.
In a few days I will be testing the Five Minute Profits system which costs £ 29.00 and comes in the form of the usual PDF download. The book is well written and the initial pages are directed at getting the correct mindset for trading with emphasis on not being too greedy and has good examples and screenshots etc. Basically what we are looking at is a trading method using specific pointers within the Betfair market place in order to predict a few ticks profit based on the type of lay or back bet we decide to make acting on the information gleened. This is based upon proven price criteria which is likely to give us an ideal and quickly exectuted trade with low risk.
The system covers both low risk trades and guaranteed trades on the general understanding that once you have got the hang of it then how you feel you can make the profit is entirely up to the individual. The emphasis is on smaller regular profits and is by no means hailing itself as a get rich scheme which makes a refreshing change. Markets will need to be viewed just before the off so may not suit 9-5ers although the use of a bot can make life a bit easier and plenty of evening racing is available so most people have some opportunity. Over the 20 days that it was tested it lost £262.10 of the £1000 bank and only managed to acheive a strike rate of 40%.
The system was basically laying 2nd Favs in certain races not to be placed, but the author wants you to watch the market to see which horse is the sp 2nd Fav, and as you will be aware in some instances the market can be very close right up until the off, so which one do you lay?
If you have to work, and lets be honest most of us do, then you can use a bot, but that will of course lay the 2nd fav according to the betfair odds, and on occassions that horse will not be the sp 2nd fav.
So unless you can sit in front of the tv all day watching the market then your selections will not always be the same as the author claims.
It would appear that the author has gone over some previous results, and decided over probably a short period of time that this idea might just work.

I know I said there would be no messages until Monday but I rechecked the figures for today and found a bet in the Scottish Div 3.
The bet was to lay Montrose and I managed to get 1.8 the result was a 1-1 draw so a 2nd successful lay.
The stake was £14.38 which was to a liability of 10% of the bank (£11.51)so a profit of £13.66 after commission.
The bank is now £128.81 and the next bet will be to a liability of £12.88 which is 10% of the bank.

Meeting 9. No qualifying bets for tonights Kempton meeting so no chance as yet to fully prove its worth. We should have a bunch of meetings coming up so every opportunity to shine. It has to be said though that quite a few systems in general have hit a bumpy patch this year and one must not let emotion dictate and give up too soon.

Expert-Bet Scam Warning
Earlier in the week i reported that i had received the first selection from this service, that had claimed a 100% strike rate over the past 5 years, the selection subsequently lost. I emailed the owner asking if this was the first losing selection in 5 years but received no reply, i sent a further email yesterday but received no reply again, when i checked the website a sold out sign was displayed!

Handicap Banker
The system that i spoke of toward last week end has been released on general sale at a cost of £47 and is a laying system called the Handicap Banker, this system is one of the easiest systems to operate i come accross and if proved successful would definetly be my cup of tea as qualifying races can be determined in under 15 mins the evening before via the 4 simple rules.
The sales page shows the results from the start of June to the 1st Aug, i have yet to finish back checking these but everything looks good and shows 101.48 points profit to 1 point level stakes, anyway, we will see how the next month goes, but as i say things look very positive.

Just a short one here, i have got an advance copy of a new system that is about to hit the market on monday- yes another one i hear you say. The site lists results for June and July this year, and to 1 point level stakes the system has made 81.58 points profit . I am going to test this over the weekend and verify the results - more on Monday

As you may well remember a few weeks ago I said that Sam had asked me to trial this football laying system, and that I wouldnt start the trial until we had our first bet.
Well tonight we had our first bet and with the start of the UEFA cup competitions and the leagues about to start for proper I think that we will see regular bets from now on.
I have decided not to use the system for friendlies but only for league and cup games as they are obviously more competetive and you wont see masses of changes as you would in friendly games.
The author states that his starting bank of £100 has grown to £1600 in approx 8 months by betting to a 10% liability of the bank on each lay.
So I shall start with £100 and also bet to a 10% liability of the bank on each lay.
There is never more than 1 lay on any given day and all are odds on, the author also claims a strike rate of just over 50% and considering they are all odds on then thats fine.
Our first bet was to lay Ath Bilbao at 1.66 result 0-1 so a profit of £15.15.
Bank now stands at £115.15 and our next bet will be to a liability of £11.51 which is of course 10% of the bank.

Lived up to it's name again today with 2 winners from 8 selections.The winners were at SP's of 8/1 and 2/1.Like yesterday placing the bets at early prices payed off as I was fortunate enough to get them at 14/1 and 11/4 but the 4 point gain on the day is calculated using SP's.The main culprit today keeping the profit down was one race where there were 4 selections which all lost.Profit now moves ahead to 9.1 points.

Monday the first day of the test produced 6 bets,4 losers ,one winner at 13/2 and one place at 20/1.The winner was available at 14/1 early morning with several bookies and this is the price I got,but for the purpose of the test I shall use the SP prices [13/2 in this case].As stated previously some of the bets are 1 point win and some are 1 point each way, all explained in the manual.Today saw a profit of 5.1 points,so a good start.

Over the next few weeks I shall be testing the above system from Sportsworld Publishing.It claims to have made £130,000 profit over the last 2 years to £100 stakes and is a backing system.The manual is extremely well written and takes you through the simple selection process which should take no more than a few minutes per day. Basically you bet the horses of certain trainers at certain courses for either 1 point win or 1 point each way.A quick look at the comprehensive results pages shows what I would call long losing runs of up to 16 but if you can put up with this the profit graphs do keep edging forwards as some of the winners are priced up to 20/1.I look forward to testing this with great interest to see if it lives up to the huge claims made by Sportsworld Publishing.Let's hope it can.

Any road, this system makes the biggest claims that i have ever seen if you look at the sales page here the author rubbishes virtually every system on the market, never before have i seen this in a sales page and i have been reviewing systems for over a year now, in fact, some of the systems that Mark ( the author) rubbishes i have actually approved!!
I have had a quick read at the ebook, which seems very easy to operate and can be done by people who work full time. On top of this, the system is proofed to the respectable secret betting club and apparently it has had a 100% strike rate in the last 5 years, and that is not a typo!!
Anyway, i just thought id let you know to keep an eye out for this one, it certainly talks the talk but can it walk the walk!!
